On the Wednesday 5th December, years 7, 8 and 9 were put through their paces for a House Competition.
The aim of the House Competition was for students to learn more about their figureheads, Bonhoeffer, McMillan and Wilberforce. In addition to this, students were tasked with presenting how these figureheads demonstrated Immanuel’s new values: Perseverance, Character and Hope (PCH). On the day, students were in mixed-year groups throughout the knock-out competition to produce a poster presentation.
By period 6, 125 groups were whittled down to just three; one group per House. These three groups finally presented to SLT who picked a winner. SLT were impressed with the quality of the presentations, especially how the students had linked the works of Bonhoeffer, McMillan and Wilberforce to PCH.
In the end Wilberforce were crowned house competition winners! Congratulations to all involved!
