In October 2012 parents, carers and staff got together to form Immanuel College’s PTFA (Parent, Teacher and Friend Association)
The purpose of the PTFA is to raise funds to spend on enhancing the school environment and experience for students and to have fun along the way!
Since the PTFA was launched it has organised Christmas Fayres, Summer Fairs, plant sales, KS3 film clubs, bag packing events and much more. The PTFA are always looking for ways to support curriculum areas in school and have recently bought the PE Dept. some new football nets and a Mac Book Air for the English Dept.
All parents and carers are welcome to join the PTFA. Parents and carers can be involved as much or as little as they like. The meetings usually take place on Wednesdays each month at 6.30pm in the school meeting room. If parents and carers are unable to attend meetings but still want to hear about what is going on they can register their details with Nicola Erswell Communications and Events Officer on Tel: 01274659828 or via Email: Nicola.Erswell@immanuelcollege.net

-REGIONAL WINNERS FOR PTFA EVENT OF THE YEAR 2013-
In June 2013 the PTFA was crowned regional winners for PTA event of the year at the 2013 PTA UK awards . The PTFA received £500 and a paid for trip to London to receive the prize on HMS Belfast.
