On 26th, 27th, and 28th September our three houses of Year 7’s travelled to Nell Bank in Ilkley for their annual visit to the outdoor pursuits centre Nell Bank. Fortunately the sun was shining on the groups as they participated in orienteering, blindfold assault course, plug the hole and ski walking with a difference. These activities enabled all students to work as a team and to actively participate in games with other students in their classes and their year making new friendships. The form tutors were able to see their form out of the classroom scenario, and those identified by the centre staff as being exceptional performers on the day were celebrated by staff. Tears of laughter and giggles could be heard across the centre from all corners and every student took part and enjoyed such a positive experience.
