OVERVIEW

Learning a language is a good way to show an understanding of other cultures. There are many jobs using languages, not to mention being useful for holidays! Also, it’s fun! Immanuel has a Languages Computer suite with up to date PCs with access to many websites. We also have language-specific software to help you learn.

Language lessons are fun!  You will complete Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing tasks  so that you can communicate in the language. You will have regular assessments and teachers will tell you how to achieve certain levels.

In KS4 they can choose to continue with their French studies and / or choose do study Spanish.

Assessments – Key Stage 3

Formal assessments will take place once every half term after having completed two units from the scheme of work.
