For Key Stage 3 Music –
The Key Stage 3 Music curriculum is modelled on the Areas of Study for GCSE Music. It is a spiral model which provides a progressive build up of skills throughout the key stage and equips students for study at both Key Stage 4 and 5. Pupils learn about a range of musical genres and periods throughout each of the units which are taught in a practical way through whole class, small group and paired composition, performance and appraisal.

- Pupils own choice guided research project
