• File Management – Set up of folders and manage files – Set up a Gmail account
• Health and Safety – E-safety – Use Movie maker to create a video about internet safety when using chatrooms/Social Networking sites etc.
• Using Effective search engines – Using key word searching and Advanced searching
• Creating a logo for an event using Fireworks/Photoshop
• Creating a range of documents – Invitation to the event, Flyer and Poster – ~(Invite linked to Mail Merge )
• Database – Guest invites (Link to invite documents)
• Excel spread sheet and simple formulas  - Budgeting sheet for the event – Creating a sitting arrangement ~(Cell formatting and count formula)
• Intro to flash – Creating an animated advertisement banner
• Intro to Dreamweaver – Creating a home page for the event.

Y8 – Break down of what topics students are creating

• File management – creating and managing files
• Health and safety and E-Safety when using the internet
• Effective search engines
• Creating a Brand Logo for a Theme park
• Control – Design a Theme Park – using control software
• Excel sheet – Booking system for the theme park and costing sheets
• Students will create custom booking database and forms
• Comic Strip – Use flash/scratch to create a comic strip to advertise their Theme Park, involving the characters they have in their park.

Y9 – Break down of what topics students are creating

• File management – creating and managing files
• Health and safety and E-Safety when using the internet
• Using Effective search engines – Using key word searching and Advanced searching
• Presentation – Introducing a games concept – producing hand-outs – Students will create their own branding
• Using gaming software to produce a game and apply scripting
• Create a promotional video to advertise the new game using screen capturing software
• Spread sheet – Gaming budget and financial forecast
• Produce a website for the game which includes all of the elements produced in the previous tasks
• Changes of ICT within society
