Immanuel GCSE Success

Students and staff at Immanuel College are celebrating the success of Year 11 students.

The headlines:

98% of our year 11 students left with 5 A*-C at GCSE or equivalents

98% of our year 11 students left with at least 2 science GCSEs or equivalents

Year 11 students achieved the best results in English that Immanuel has ever seen.  68% achieved A*-C.

Ofsted have changed the emphasis from raw results to the progress that students have made since they entered Immanuel College.  We are thrilled to report that using Ofsted terminology:

Outstanding’ progress was achieved in music, statistics, French, Food technology, science, chemistry and physics GCSEs and in art, travel and tourism, creative arts, music, business, ICT, performing arts, sport, childcare, horticulture, fish husbandry, and construction BTECs

Good progress’ was achieved in English, English literature, graphics, history, RE, biology and textiles GCSEs.
